I’m Andruga Cosmas, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support in achieving a lifelong dream that has been shaped by resilience and determination. I lost my father at the tender age of four, and my mother, a peasant with limited education, struggled to provide for me and my two siblings. Despite the hardship, the support of relatives and well-wishers allowed me to complete secondary education.
With their encouragement, I secured a government sponsorship through the district quota system to pursue a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science at Mbarara University of Science and Technology. I am proud to be the first in my family to earn a degree. After graduating, I worked at Mbarara Diagnostic Center, then Arua Regional Referral Hospital under the HIV project, and currently, I serve at Muni University.
Despite my dedication and the experience I have gained, my previous employment terms and the modest salary have made it challenging to advance further in my career and meet my family’s needs. To overcome these barriers, I am seeking your support to fund my Master’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
This degree will not only help me enhance my skills but also contribute significantly to improving healthcare in Uganda. Your support will make a profound difference in my ability to continue serving my community effectively.
